I actually really like Lady Antebellum, I like listening to her when I get into my country music phases. My step-sister is the one who got me started listening to her and the first song I started liking by her was I Run To You and it's still one of my favorites. My favorite part of the song is at the beginning of the song, the lyrics go:
"I run from hate,
I run from prejudice
I run from pessimists
But I run too late
I run my life
Or is it running me
Run from my past
I run too fast
Or too slow it seems
When lies become the truth
That's when I run to you"
Sometimes I kind of feel like that. Like I know I can control my life but the bad things that have happened in my life just kind of linger and sometimes I'm just trying to get away from it all. Although I don't have that 'special someone' to run to, but still I feel like this song applies and will apply to me throughout my life and that's why I really like this song.
